These rustic cabins were originally set up as logging camps, they later became the private hunting and fishing cabins of drug store tycoon Louis Liggett. Tea Pond Lodge and Cabins now welcomes guests to the serenity and beauty of the Maine woods. The property has access to miles of old logging roads that can be used for hiking, hunting, snowmobiling, ATVing and wildlife watching. It boasts some of the finest fishing in Maine for Landlocked Salmon, Brook Trout and Togue. Depart for an adventure right from your cabin door on snowmobile/ATV or travel a short distance to Sugarloaf USA and Saddleback ski areas.
We offer six turn-of-the-century log cabins. Each are equipped with a kitchen containing all of the necessities, water closet (some with showers) and gas grill. Tea Pond Lodge and Cabins is off – the - Grid but has solar and generator power to these cabins. Also offered are three rustic cabins, these very private, handcrafted log buildings that do not have running water or electricity, they are heated by glass front wood stoves and have an outhouse. For the cabins without showers or plumbing a bath house with flush toilets and hot showers are available only a few steps away. All cabins offer clean, comfortable beds fully made up.
